I finally did it
I finally finished editing this dang novel and sent my word baby out into the real world where it’s in the hands of my beta readers. I guess it’s somewhat reassuring to know my perpetual talent of underestimating the amount of time my edits/drafting will take hasn’t changed over the years (I was aiming to wrap up edits by the end of August…but I guess early September is close enough.)
Anyway, excuse me while I collapse into a puddle of mush. (Or, at least let me daydream about it. Alas, university life has been keeping me ridiculously busy. On second thought, taking 6 classes and 1 lab at the same time might not have been the smartest idea but I want to graduate ASAP goshdangit.)
Don’t worry, I don’t plan on stopping writing during my month off The Secret Currency related work. I reckon after a 2-3 day break, I’m going to start drafting a couple short stories…Who’s ready for some sci-fi retelling of Chinese myths? 👀
Stay tuned for another surprise soon
I’ve been working on something for the past couple weeks, something I’m hoping to reveal to the world soon. Hint: Pretty books at affordable prices 😉 If you’re in the mood of some sneak peeks, I’ve been dropping them on my Instagram @author_t_a_chan so be sure to check it out if you’re curious!
Congrats on getting to this part of the writing journey! Wishing you all the best with your latest WIP, and yes, a sci-fi retelling of Chinese myths (I’m half Chinese) sounds pretty damn awesome.

Thank you Staurt! And whoot–which legend would you love to get a retelling of?

I actually don’t know if this is legend more than it is history, but it’d be interesting if you could sci-fi-ise (made that word up) the Three Kingdoms era?
